We met with our social worker again. We decided to travel half way so she didn't have to drive all the way in from Atlanta again. We decided to meet at a coffee shop in Lawrenceville. She met with each of us individually and basically asked us a great deal about our history. This included a life timeline - where we grew up, where we went to school, where we worked, etc. We talked about our families, our friends, our communities, our faith, and our philosophy on child rearing and discipline. We also talked about our hobbies, our interests, and our activities. It was a lot of information to share!
Our social worker furiously took notes during our conversations. She told us that she would write up our home study and send it to us for review. We left feeling relieved that the interview process was behind us and that we were moving forward with the process.
